Twice as Nice Comedy @ Princess of Wales Primrose Hill Thursday 2 October: Jay Foreman & Javier Costales

Twice as Nice Comedy is proud to join forces with Princess of Wales in Primrose Hill to put on another night of stand-up comedy night in their atmospheric upstairs bar and will offer top name comics and circuit regulars.

Jay Foreman

Jay is a guitarist/comedian whose unique repetoire falls almost exactly halfway betweenlive music and sit-down comedy. Flitting violently between subtle humour, catchy singalongs and mindless bad taste, Jay is drawing considerable attention even from people who aren’t students anymore. Achievements include BBC New Talent Pick of the Fringe, ‘best newcomer’ at the Tuborg Musical Comedy Awards 2009 and ‘finalist’ at the Musical Comedy Awards 2010. One of his songs is covered and played regularly by muscial comedy veterans Kit and the Widow. Jay can’t decide whether he’s happy about being known on youtube as the guy who wrote ‘Moon Chavs’.
“Clever lyrics, good music and never ever dull. This is a talented guy.” – (
“Snap up this young talent” ***** – (ThreeWeeks)

Javier Costales

“Javier Costales performs an accomplished set: his musings on whistling noses, interplanetary linguistics, onanism and oral sex follow on seamlessly as he treats us to some well thought out and entertaining material.” Broadway Baby
“Surreal flights of fancy and punchlines that spring up from the most unlikely of places. It’s the ramblings of a unique comedic mind” Tickled Pig
